Talaria Komodo Rear Brake Kit – Ultra Bee Caliper
$ 0,00
Ultra Bee rear brake upgrade for the Talaria Komodo: genuine Sur-Ron Ultra Bee caliper and master cylinder, steel-braided line and a one-piece CNC bracket with integrated rotor guard. Fits the stock 240 mm rotor — or add the EBG 240 mm floating rotor for even more bite and fade resistance. Bolts to the factory mounts, no fabrication.
This Talaria Komodo rear brake kit is built for how the Komodo actually gets ridden — rear brake dragged through ruts, held on long descents and leaned on hard when the bike starts to push. Genuine Ultra Bee caliper and master cylinder on a one-piece CNC bracket that bolts straight to the Komodo and runs your stock 240 mm rotor.
Stock Komodo rear brake vs EBG Talaria Komodo rear brake kit
| Aspect | Stock Talaria Komodo | EBG Komodo Rear Brake Kit |
|---|---|---|
| Caliper | Stock 2-piston | Genuine Sur-Ron Ultra Bee 2-piston |
| Master cylinder | Stock | Genuine Sur-Ron Ultra Bee, DOT4 |
| Rotor | 240 mm fixed, waved steel | Keeps stock 240 mm — or upgrade to EBG 240 × 3.5 mm floating |
| Line | Standard hose | Steel-braided, PTFE core |
| Bracket | Stock caliper mount | One-piece CNC 7075 billet with integrated rotor guard, anodised |
The kit alone gives the Komodo the Ultra Bee caliper and lever feel. Add the EBG floating rotor and you also get more steel in the disc to soak up heat — that is where fade comes from on long descents, not lever effort.

Fits
Talaria Komodo (rear). Bolts to the factory mounting points — no drilling, no adapters. Some frames need 0.5–1.5 mm shim washers behind the caliper for dead-centre alignment; they are cheap and easy to fit.
Why riders swap it
The Komodo is heavy and quick, and the stock rear brake runs out of bite fast once it gets hot. The genuine Ultra Bee caliper and master cylinder give a firm, consistent lever — the same parts Sur-Ron fits to its own bikes, not the copies flooding the market. Pair it with the EBG floating rotor and the 3.5 mm disc holds far more heat before the lever goes long, while the floating carrier lets it expand without warping.
Bleed the system after fitting.
Keep pads and rotor free from chain lube and brake fluid — contamination causes noise and is not covered by warranty.
